About Liliana Lim Liliana Lim began her journey in the fashion industry in 1997, after winning first place at the Indonesian Young Designer Contest (IYDC) A graduate of Futura Fashion Center—founded by one of Indonesia’s fashion maestros, Prajudi—she earned the title of Best Student in 1994. Known for her mastery in handling diverse materials, Liliana has developed a distinctive design approach rooted in moulage and drapery techniques. For her, experimenting with fabrics is a form of creative expression, allowing her to fully channel her artistic vision into each creation. Her deep attention to detail, which began at a young age, has shaped her lifelong dedication to the craft of fashion design. Since 1999, Liliana has also been an active member of the Indonesian Fashion Designer Council (IFDC), a platform where she conItinues to contribute to the growth and refinement of Indonesia’s fashion industry.
